A Grand Day Out
A selection of a brethren yesterday enjoyed a wonderful evening at Grand Lodge, attending the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand lodge of Middlesex.
After a few drinks in The Freemasons Arms, we entered the building and got ourselves suitably attired for the meeting.
Presiding over the brethren was HRH Prince Michael of Kent, for the first time in a while, which made the whole meeting very special. It was an excellent meeting, and the provincial team excelled.
Another quick visit to the pub and we dashed back to The Connaught Rooms for the Festive Board.
After an entertaining introduction from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master W.Bro Simon Thoday, HRH Prince Michael of Kent gave a warm, interesting, and at times very amusing speech to the Brethren assembled.
The Connaught Rooms staff served a very nice meal and plenty of red wine in a beautiful setting.
Finally we retired to The Pillars for a final drink before heading home.
Looking forward to next year already 😊
